What Types of Accounts Are Available?

Through Vantagepoint Elite, you may establish three different types of accounts to best suit your investment needs.

Cash

Conventional brokerage account.

Margin

An account that allows you to borrow money based on the broker's call rate of interest to purchase securities. Please read the margin agreement carefully prior to trading on margin; certain restrictions apply.

Option

An account that allows you to purchase options. Options provide you with the right but not the obligation to purchase or sell shares of stock within a specified period of time. Options carry a high level of risk and are not suitable for all investors. Please read the options disclosure document Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options before considering an option transaction. Copies are available upon request.
